I'd live in a beautiful, safe, community with my husband and two kids, seeing friends & family on a regular basis, and exploring my creative interests in as many ways as possible.

I spent most of my life considering it, although did not know which religion I wanted.  I finally did it in my twenties (by the way, that was years ago).  Then last year I realized that what I converted to was actually more philosophy than religion.... so it was something I could practice anywhere, without having to be in a physical church.  ( Read more... )

Why do you chase your tail?

I don't think there is one age for everyone.  What might work as a method of identifying who's an adult, is requiring everyone to pass a series of tests which prove one's maturity.  Then, what kind of tests could prove such a thing?  Who knows??  Choose between a) throwing your dirty socks all over the house, b) putting them in a designated dirty ( Read more... )

Awakened by hungry cat anywhere between 5am & 6am.  Cat walks over me, purrs, rubs, gently puts paw on my face or neck, sits there waiting 30 seconds/or whatever number of seconds he deems apropos, then starts routine all over again, with occasional meowing, occasional elated jumping off the bed.  Usually I get up about 6:20 to feed poor ( Read more... )
